I have read books on what would happen in the case of an EMP event happening and it's effect on the electrical grid. It would seem other people are having the same thoughts and concerns. This time it is NASA, another group of crazy conspiracy theorist.

Who and What to Believe

We are faced with many different sources of information today. TV, Radio and of course the internet. Who are to believe and from them, what are we to believe. When you read news on the market you can easily find sources that say the market is going to come back and sources that say it will crash. Pick your poison.

So what is the truth?

I have my own beliefs you have to decide what you believe.

Regardless, I say we should hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

"Worst case scenario" is what I call it. What if the worst happens? Would you be prepared?

I am married and have 4 children. I am not only faced with supporting and protecting myself but I have a profound responsibility for others. Most who read this do as well.

So ask yourself, what if the:

1. Power went out?
2. Stores were closed?
3. You had no money?
4. You had to be self sufficient?
5. Others wanted what you have?

Those are just a few of the worst case situations that COULD happen.

When I was in Iraq you never wanted to believe the enemy would kill you so you would do things to ensure they couldn't.

Was that full proof? No! But you did the best you could.

I believe that is what we should be doing today.

So, if the power went out I could still cook food and heat my home.

If the stores were closed we couldn't have the same things we have now but we could survive.

If we had no money I could barter my labor and skills and I have a garden to provide for my family. I also have the skills to kill animals for food.

Self sufficient? I am not sure. I think we could make it for some time but there are so many variables to that.

Others wanting what I have? That I have covered to an extent. I have guns and ammo but know defending a position against enemy forces harder than portrayed in the movies.

There is strength in numbers.

So there is the thought for the day. Are you ready? What if the worst happens?

I believe that because of the research I have done and the signs I see. The main stream media and it's Obama loving left wing stance ignore the issue for the most part.
